11/30/2021 2015 Mid Season UpdateThe Bellevue High girls varsity soccer team is midway through its season with a King Co. 3A/2A record of 5 wins and 1 loss. The Wolverines had a big win last week against a previously undefeated Mercer Island team(1-0), thanks to an unpenetrable defense and a thrilling goal by sophomore midfielder Carly Tudor. Other wins have been against Juanita (5-1), Sammamish (4-2), Lake Washington (3-0) and Interlake (3-2), and the team's only loss is to Liberty (0-2). Sophomore Kiley Suter and Freshman Grace Nesbitt lead the team in scoring with 6 goals each, while junior Sophie Butterfield has 3 goals. Senior captain Britley Gaan (goalkeeper) and senior Noelle Mitchell, have led the squad's defense while junior captain Katie Foster has maintained a steady presence in the midfield.
